    must have gone into putting it together.

    I left Millwall aged 7 in 1962. The property at 149 West Ferry Road, corner of Maria Street, didn’t exist then – there was just a shed occupied by greengrocer Mrs Peterson (Maybe Peterken?) who always seemed to have a cauldron of beetroot on the boil. Squires, opposite, had hardware such as lino.
